About Diana Koppang, Library Manager at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP 

Diana has specialized in intellectual property research throughout her 12 year career as a law firm librarian. She recently served as the Chair of the Intellectual Property Caucus of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and is currently Chair of the Economic Status of Law Librarians Committee of AALL, as well as on the Board of the Chicago chapter of AALL. Diana has presented on research techniques in the areas of patent litigation, patent searching, patent trolls, social media, trademark counterfeiting, and legal analytics at national conferences for AALL and the Patent Information Users Group as well as guest lecturing in these areas for courses at the law schools of Northwestern University and Boston University.

About Amantha S. Allen, Esq., User Experience and Professional Development Manager, LexisNexis IP

Amantha began her Lexis career in 2009 as a Specialized Law Account Executive in Dayton, Ohio. She joined the Intellectual Property group in 2010. As the IP Sales Specialist for the Northwest Territory she relocated to Santa Clara, California before transitioning to the IP Training and Support Specialist role in 2011 where she consulted with patent attorneys, agents, law librarians and others in more than 700 law firms and corporations nationwide. In 2014, she became responsible for both internal and client-facing training and development as the User Experience Manager, where she was tasked with building a team of specialists from the ground up to enhance customer satisfaction with and adoption of the IP suite of products. Amantha graduated cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2004 before entering the Law and Technology Program at the University of Dayton. She received her J.D. in 2007 and went on to become licensed in 2008. Prior to joining the Lexis family, she worked in the Patent Prosecution and Licensing department at NCR Corporation and taught law courses at a private college in Cincinnati.
